Quality Assurance

The WP6 “Quality Assurance” is aimed at monitoring the project progress, cooperation mechanism and administrative management, as well as evaluating the quality of produced outputs by feedbacks of participants, users and target groups. The criteria, tools and procedures for monitoring and assuring the quality of the project are defined in the Quality Assurance Plan and Handbook (A.6.1).

The RADIUM project foresees two types of evaluations: formative (step by step, A.6.2) and summative (at the end of the project, A.6.4), both of which are carried out at internal and external level and coordinated by the Quality Assurance Committee (QAC), that meets on a three-monthly basis. So far, the Quality Assurance Committee met twice:

  • March 3, 2021
  • June 16, 2021

While the internal formative evaluation involves the project teams members and takes into consideration the respect of the project provisions (deadlines, tasks, outputs delivery, communication, resources uses and budget limitations), the external formative evaluation is carried out by 2 external evaluators with relevant competencies in the RADIUM project fields and responsible to assess the quality of academic outputs, the project sustainability and impact. The external experts also responsible for suggesting corrective actions if specific outcomes are not produced according to the set indicators and quality standards. For the summative evaluation, both internal and external, the A.6.3 is fundamental: gathering the feedback from students and teachers.
