The HSMA’s Institute of Physical Chemistry and Radiochemistry has emerged from a Nuclear Institute founded in 1971. It offers a wide range of education and research in Radiochemistry and Radiation Protection. As registered Radiation Protection School it offers licensed Radiation Protection Courses. One of the Institute’s members is personal founder of CHERNE but institutional membership was granted in 2017. Since then, a summer school on radionuclide production has been organized.
